The furniture
I make was created for you to use and enjoy. In normal use, accidents
may occur but with minimal preventive care, your furniture will
last a lifetime.
To keep your furniture looking its best...
Placement
Place your furniture out of contact with direct heat or
sunlight. Sunlight UV rays can damage or discolor the wood surface.
Dusting
Dust
often with a soft cloth moistened with furniture polish. The polish
will prevent abrasive dust particles from scratching
the finished
surface. Suitable dusting clothes include an old T-shirt, baby
diaper, or commercially available dust cloth. Avoid anything
harsh or
scratchy.
Cleaning Spills
Liquid spills will cause serious damage if not immediately
removed. Carefully blot up any liquid. Do not rub or wipe
the liquid into
the wood surface.
Waxing
Your furniture will benefit from an occasional,
once a year, waxing. Using a high-quality paste wax, apply a very
light
coat in the
direction of the grain. After a few minutes buff to a protective
smudge resistant
shine. |
